 Brinkmanship- Getting to the verge of war and hoping the other backs down
 Covert Operations- 1953- CIA & U2 Spy Planes
 Domino Theory- 1954- Prompted SEATO
 Eisenhower Doctrine- Halt communism in Middle Easteconomic and military aid from the US
