AQA History 1J - HIS1J - The Development of Germany, 1871-1925 Notes
This is a comprehensive, detailed and clearly written set of notes that closely follows the official specification. The notes contain sufficient depth for students aiming to achieve the top grades and may also be useful for students studying other German history modules covering similar time periods. They are 28 pages and around 11,000 words in length.
The resources are split chronologically into four sections. The structure of the notes is as follows:
1- Bismarck's Germany
2 - The Kaiserraich
3 - The Beginnings of Weimar
4 - The Weimar Republic
Each section is then split into separate subsections. This is typically done chronologically, but often thematically as to make the material as logical and easy to follow as possible.
The writing is clearly and coherently structured in bullet point form. This allows the notes to be concise and easy to read without compromising on the important details.
The notes can be used as a revision resource for the final exam, provide details and inspiration for essays and also act as a structured base from which you can develop your own additional notes.
Details from a number of resources, including the AQA endorsed textbook, have been used and collated in the authoring of the notes. Writing them was a long, difficult process, so having a completed set should save you valuable time that could be better spent elsewhere.
I used the notes as my only revision resource for the exam and achieved a high A grade. My peers who also used them achieved similar success and found them to be time-saving and straightforward to use when compared with alternative materials available.Should you have any queries, please don't hesitate to contact me. There is a facility to do this at the bottom of the page.
