These are my Genes and Bioinformatics revision notes I made last year for my exams. They are concise, clear, well-presented, and contain diagrams where applicable.
These notes cover a range of topics including DNA sequencing, BLAST, prokaryote and eukaryote transcription, control of gene expression, operons, bacteriophages, and translation.
These notes can be used as essay templates, or as the backbone for MCQ/short-answer questions.
I am a scholarship student with a First in every module I have taken so far at uni. With these notes I obtained a First in this module, and obtained an average of 85% for my first two years at uni.
