French Linguistics Notes
Linguistics was a fantastic topic taught by a fantastic tutor. Here I have included specifically French Linguistic topics, whilst I've uploaded General Linguistics topics into another module. Most of my work was graded highly, there is some digression in longer essays, and shorter essays can often miss the main point; however, the whole idea of studying and tutorials is to dicuss and discover as you go along, so none of these answers, whether too short or too long, are wrong. They will help you understand further, point you in the right direction for extra reading, and give you ideas to develop in your own words.
Included here: Tu versus Vous; Usage of Subjunctive; Variation between men and women; French phonological system; French as an SVO language; Creole continuum; and two on Canadian French.
