New Seller Store: Frequently Asked Questions

Frequently Asked Questions: New Seller Store

We’ve launched a new and improved seller dashboard. It’s faster, easier to use, and built with sellers in mind.

If you are an existing seller, you will need to create your store in the new dashboard.

If you are new to Oxbridge Notes, you’re already using the updated system and do not need to take any further action.

1. Do I need to upload my notes again?

No. All of your existing notes will be automatically transitioned to the new seller store for you. You won’t need to re-upload anything. However, you’ll still have the option to review and update your product descriptions or files once the transition is complete if you’d like to make improvements.

2. Will buyers see my name or any personal information?

No. Your identity will always remain completely anonymous. Buyers will never see your name, email address, or any other personal details. They only see your notes and the descriptions you provide.

3. How will I get paid?

The same as always! Your commission payments will continue to be sent to your PayPal account automatically each month after a sale.

4. Will I receive an email when someone buys my notes?

Yes. You will continue to receive automatic email notifications every time a customer purchases your notes.

5. Is my personal data secure?

Yes. We store your information securely and only use it to manage your account, such as for payment, moderation, and support purposes. Your data is never shared or sold to third parties.

6. How should I organise my files when uploading?

We recommend uploading your notes by topic instead of submitting one large document per module.

For example, files named “Leaseholds,” “Easements,” and “Covenants” are more helpful to buyers than a single document called “Land Law Notes.”

If you’re unable to split your files, please make sure there are clear subheadings within your document. This helps our team divide the content into topic-based files before publishing.

7. Can I edit my products or change prices later?

Yes. You can update your product descriptions, upload new or improved files, and make other edits anytime from within your seller dashboard.

We’ve automatically set initial prices using our algorithm, which is based on historic sales data to help maximize your earnings. However, you’re in full control and can change your prices at any time directly in your dashboard.

8. Where do I start?

If you’re an existing seller, simply follow the link in your email to set up your new store. Log in as you normally would and your account details will carry over automatically.

9. What happens to my sales history?

All of your sales data will be preserved and transferred to the new store automatically. You won’t lose any past information or sales credit.

10. Will my existing listings stay live during the transition?

Yes. Your notes will remain visible and purchasable on Oxbridge Notes while we complete the transition. There will be no downtime or loss of sales.

11. Do I need a new PayPal account or tax information?

No. Your existing PayPal and tax details will remain on file and continue to be used for payments unless you choose to update them in your new dashboard.

12. Can I preview how my store looks to buyers?

Yes. Once your store is set up, you can view it exactly as buyers see it. This lets you double-check your descriptions, file names, and prices before promoting it.

13. Will my earnings or commission rate change?

No. Your commission rate and payout schedule remain exactly the same. The new dashboard simply makes tracking your sales and payouts clearer.

14. What if I forget to set up my new store?

Don’t worry! We’ll automatically transition your notes for you, creating a store with an auto-generated name and no description. Your notes will still be searchable and available for purchase on our website. You can log in anytime later to personalize your store name, add a description, and make edits.

15. Can I add new subjects or courses?

Yes. You can list new notes, essays, or revision materials at any time by adding them directly from your dashboard.

16. What if I spot an error in how my notes were transferred?

If anything looks incorrect (for example, a missing file or description issue), just email [email protected] and our team will fix it quickly.

17. Can I temporarily remove my products?

Yes. You can hide or deactivate individual listings at any time from within your dashboard.

18. What should I do if I have a question or need help?

If you have any questions, you can reply to the email we sent you or reach out to our support team at [email protected].

We’re happy to assist with anything related to the transition or your store.

We’re excited for you to experience the new seller store, built to help you sell more, faster, and with less hassle.
