Judgement for the case Re Purpoint Ltd

Company started to look like it was going into insolvency in 1986. Director left company in 1986, and company went bust in 1987. D was sued for wrongful trading, alleged he was not liable for losses arising after he ceased to be director. Held:
·       C was liable for all losses after date on which he ought to have realised there was no reasonable prospect of company avoiding insolvency.
