These notes contain all the work that I did during the term on the Oxford University module: Luther and the German Reformation.
They include extremely detailed notes on Luther's writings in relation to the following topics:
The 95 Theses and the Early Reformation
1520 Treatises
Luther and Carlstadt
The Peasants' War
Anabaptists and Spiritualists
Jews, Turks and the Devil Marriage
Biographies of Luther
The notes contain extensive background reading in addition to notes on the relevant original sources. I did a large amount of work on this module and these notes also include all my final revision for finals.
There is, therefore, a 41 page document containing important historiography and facts and 26 detailed spider diagrams for Luther's key writings. Furthermore, there is another document with 51 pages of detailed essay plans.
The notes are all very clearly organised with titles, coloured subheadings and bullet points. All the books that I used are listed prior to their respective notes with full bibliographic information.
These notes and essay plans were all that I used to obtain a First in this module They would be very useful for anyone studying the 16th century Reformation, particularly those interested in Martin Luther's writings and the progress of the German Reformation.
