I am a subject leader in land law and a lecturer, examiner and marker of land law, equity, and contract law at university. I teach on the GDL and LLB, as well as reviewing LLM dissertations. I also teach tort law as well as wider construction/property law modules. I have been teaching for over ten years, at university, schools, and as a private tutor. I studied law at Cambridge and trained as a barrister, gaining an Outstanding grade overall on the BPTC and Outstandings in almost every module, including advocacy, conferencing, civil litigation, drafting and commercial law. I am currently also writing a guide to the BTC (Bar Training Course). I have written contract and land law guides for a GDL and LLB provider as well as writing model essay answers at distinction level for a GDL provider. I have had my undergraduate work published in a tort law textbook and my dissertation consulted and used by a leading academic in the field. I have written recent articles for academic publications, most recently the Construction Law Review. I am also a property and civil litigation content creator for the LPC and new solicitor qualification (SQE). My teaching style is structured, with particular focus on structure for exam problem questions and a more theoretical dimension for essay style questions and testing of general conceptual understanding of subjects. I aim to use worked examples to help clarify complicated areas of law.
